Bunion care products add cushioning over the bunion joint or hold the big toe in position. This collection includes gel pads, shields and bunion regulators, mostly from PediFix.

Types of bunion products

Gel bunion pads: the Visco-GEL Dual-Action Bunion Fix is a soft sleeve with a gel pad that sits over the joint inside the shoe.
Bunion shields: a universal shield adds a cushioned layer between the bunion and the shoe.
Bunion regulators: PediFix regulators are splints sold for the left or right foot and are usually worn at night, not in shoes.

Fit tips

Check the side (left or right) and the size before ordering a regulator. Gel products can be washed and reused; follow the care instructions on the package. Give your shoes enough room in the toe box when wearing a pad. If you have diabetes, poor circulation or ongoing foot pain, talk with your doctor or podiatrist before using any foot device. Many items are FSA/HSA eligible.
